From being a sniper in the Australian special forces and serving and surviving 3 years in the Iraq war to being a world-renowned anti-poaching and environmentalist, Damien Mander's story is one of deep integrity and transformation.

After a trip to Africa and seeing first-hand the unjust cruelty and devastation of poaching, Damien liquidated his life savings to establish the International Anti-Poaching Foundation, now known as Akashinga. It's an incredible story with an impact that will last long after Damien is gone.

In a world awash in unbodied words and actions. Where manufactured outrage and energy are given over to insignificance. Damien Mander shows us what is possible when we take embodied, heart-based, service-orientated action. No words are necessary. If we truly care about generations to come, there needs to be a shift in awareness away from that of exploiters of our earth to the essential role of guardians.
